Marketing Mix – 4Ps

Marketing Mix – 4Ps The Marketing Mix refers to the 4 key elements every company uses to market its product or service — Product, Price, Place, and Promotion.

1. Product

It refers to what the company is selling — a good or service that satisfies customer needs.
Example: A smartphone, toothpaste, or banking service.
📘 Key idea: The product should meet customer expectations.

2. Price

It means how much money customers pay to buy the product.
Example: Discounts, offers, or premium pricing.
📘 Key idea: The price should match the product’s value and what customers can afford.

3. Place

It means where and how the product is made available to customers.
Example: Shops, online stores, or direct delivery.
📘 Key idea: The right place ensures customers can easily buy the product.

4. Promotion

It refers to how the company tells customers about its product and encourages them to buy.
Example: Advertisements, social media, offers, or events.
📘 Key idea: Good promotion increases awareness and sales.

In Short:

Marketing Mix (4Ps) = Product + Price + Place + Promotion
→ Together, they help companies attract customers and grow sales.
