To crop a video on YouTube , follow these simple steps:

 

📱 On Mobile (YouTube Shorts / App)

YouTube itself does not fully crop normal videos, but for Shorts:

  1. Open YouTube App
  2. Tap ➕ Create
  3. Select or upload your video
  4. Pinch with two fingers to zoom/crop
  5. Adjust frame position
  6. Continue → Add title → Upload

💻 On PC (YouTube Studio)

YouTube Studio only allows:

  • Trim beginning/end
  • Blur parts
  • Cut sections

It does NOT allow actual frame cropping.

Use free tools like:

  1. Open CapCut
  2. Import video
  3. Select video layer
  4. Pinch/resize or use Crop
  5. Export video
  6. Upload to YouTube
